Elite Team

The Elite Team is for Blade & Edge skaters of all levels who love to compete and are excited to travel beyond the Midwest to experience new rinks, judges, and opportunities. Members travel together, represent the club, and build lasting friendships along the way. If your skater is interested in travel competitions, we encourage you to explore the Elite Team option.

Elite Team Competitive Membership Requirements:

• Skaters must compete in out-of-town competitions selected by the director

• Coaches’ travel expenses are covered by membership fees

• Families are responsible for competition registration, practice ice, personal travel, and coaches’ event/practice ice fees

• Skaters must compete in one local Blade & Edge competition (Winterfest, Spring Fling, or Autumn Classic)

• Families must complete 10 volunteer hours (5 Winterfest + 5 other club events) or opt for a $100 buyout

• Families are required to work fundraising table shifts at events supporting Elite Team coaching fees (Winterfest, Autumn Classic, Spring Fling, and Consignment Sale if held)
